ANAMNESIS, meaning recollection, understands memory not as an archive, but as something

lived—personal, shifting, and felt through the body. It unfolds as an intimate dialogue between human presence and the natural world, where landscape is not mere setting, but a force that bends perception, stretches time, and quietly shapes identity.

Rather than treating memory as a finished past, ANAMNESIS approaches it as a continual becoming—where traces of what has been and what is yet to arrive coexist, and where our bond with nature mirrors the fragile, evolving ways we remain connected to one another.

The inaugural film, set among the landmarks of Sado Island in Japan, premiered on November 18, 2025 through NOWNESS Asia, offering an architectural homage to Noh tradition and to the silent architectures of stone, wind, and sea.

 

The second instalment, ANAMNESIS II: Patagonia, turns toward Fitz Roy and the glacial landscapes of southern Argentina, and will have its Asia premiere from late August 2026 in private screenings at the Upper House locations (Hong Kong, Shanghai & Chengdu). ​

From Patagonia onward, ANAMNESIS continues as a global series—moving through Japan, Peru, and beyond—listening to how each place leaves its imprint on the body, and how landscape and memory keep rewriting each other.​
